MAHALAKSHMI, the Goddess of Abundance Japa Mala
This is the sacred japa mala of Lakshmi Devi, the divine mother of wealth, prosperity, beauty, and grace. She is the goddess who walks beside her devotees and turns effort into abundance, dissolving misfortune and opening the way to lasting fortune. To sit in japa with Lakshmi is to invite her blessings into every corner of life, wealth and well being, harmony and peace, and the quiet confidence that one is provided for and held by the divine mother herself.
This is a full one hundred and eight bead japa mala of pure Rudraksha, the seed of pure consciousness, of Shiva himself, carrying the vibration of pure awareness through every bead. Rudraksha connects the wearer directly with Shiva consciousness, bestowing the power and strength to perform sadhana every single day, and here it forms the whole body of the mala, a true instrument of daily meditation and mantra.
At its heart rests a rare Nepali seven mukhi Rudraksha guru bead of collector's quality, finished with custom made silver caps signed for Shivoham. The seven mukhi is the bead of Goddess Mahalakshmi herself, the most beloved of all Rudraksha for abundance and prosperity. It is said to carry her living blessings, attracting wealth and new streams of fortune, dissolving financial blockages and the miseries that accompany them, and drawing lasting, sustainable prosperity rather than fleeting gain. Beyond wealth, it soothes the mind, calms anxiety and fear, deepens harmony in relationships, and blesses the wearer with peace, stability, and grace. Its seven faces are linked to the seven sages and the seven chakras, bringing the whole energy body into balance. A collector's quality seven mukhi such as this, clean and well defined in its seven natural lines, is a rare and precious thing.
This mala is made for meditation, its one hundred and eight Rudraksha beads easy and comfortable to move through the fingers as you chant, each bead attuning more deeply to you with every round. It is a lifelong companion for the seeker who wishes to sit daily in the presence of the goddess, drawing her abundance and her grace into their practice and their life.
The Charms
Each piece carries two sacred charms, custom designed to match the Shivoham logo. The crescent moon is the original, signifying Shiva's crescent moon and his mastery of time, past, present, and future, and the knower of all three. The round S charm is a later addition, marking the piece unmistakably as Shivoham, since our custom moon design has so often been copied. The S is for Shivoham, and has also come to be known as Shakti. Together the crescent moon and the S are Shiva and Shakti, sun and moon, masculine and feminine, a complete stamp of alchemy and wholeness.
