Ganesh Mala, the Remover of Obstacles Japa Mala
This is the sacred japa mala of Lord Ganesha, the beloved elephant headed deity, remover of obstacles, lord of beginnings, and guardian of every sacred threshold. Ganesha is invoked before all things, at the start of every prayer, every journey, and every new endeavour, for he clears the path ahead and blesses the seeker with wisdom, success, and grace. He is the keeper of intelligence and discernment, the calmer of the restless mind, and the patron of those who seek knowledge and spiritual growth. To sit in japa with Ganesha is to dissolve inner and outer obstacles alike, steadying the mind, sharpening the intellect, and opening the way to deeper realisation.
At the heart of this mala rests a rare Nepali Ganesh Rudraksha guru bead, finished with sterling silver caps. The Ganesh Rudraksha is distinguished by a natural trunk like formation upon its face, the very likeness of Ganesha himself, making it one of the most revered and auspicious of all beads. It carries his blessings of obstacle removal, protection, prosperity, and clarity of mind. The sterling silver caps are a refined new addition, protecting the sacred bead for a lifetime of use while lending it quiet elegance. This mala is finished without a tassel, so it endures beautifully through years of daily practice, nothing to fray or wear, only the pure Rudraksha and the grace of Ganesha.
This mala is finished elegantly without a tassel, so nothing frays or wears with time. It is made to be used, day after day, for a lifetime of sadhana.
The Charms
Each piece carries two sacred charms, custom designed to match the Shivoham logo. The crescent moon is the original, signifying Shiva's crescent moon and his mastery of time, past, present, and future, and the knower of all three. The round S charm is a later addition, marking the piece unmistakably as Shivoham, since our custom moon design has so often been copied. The S is for Shivoham, and has also come to be known as Shakti. Together the crescent moon and the S are Shiva and Shakti, sun and moon, masculine and feminine, a complete stamp of alchemy and wholeness.
A note on care: There is no need to cleanse this mala. It has already been blessed and consecrated. All you need do is enhance its energy by wearing it with reverence for your own sadhana and spiritual practice. The more you wear it, the more it will attune to you, supporting you to become one with its energy, as it becomes one with yours.
Authenticity: Every piece arrives with a certificate of authenticity as a guarantee card, detailing weight and gemstones, signed off by a GIA qualified gemologist.
