Bodhimata is the mala of the wise, awakened mother, the tender and boundless love that does not cling, but sets free. Hers is the knowing compassion of the elder mother who has walked the path, who holds her child close and yet opens her hands, granting the freedom to find oneself, to express oneself, to awaken in one's own time. This is not the anxious love that grasps, but the serene, all knowing love that trusts, and in trusting, liberates.
At its heart rests a soft rose quartz pendant, the supreme stone of unconditional love, radiating the gentle warmth of a mother's embrace. It is crowned by an eight millimetre rose quartz guru bead, deepening that current of compassion and heart centred grace.
The mala is strung with six millimetre beads of faceted labradorite, Madagascan rose quartz, Herkimer style quartz, and sacred Rudraksha. Labradorite is the stone of magic and intuition, the twilight jewel that awakens inner knowing and protects the aura, the quiet wisdom of one who sees. Madagascan rose quartz pours out tender, unconditional love, soothing the heart and dissolving old wounds. The Herkimer style quartz brings brilliant clarity and light, amplifying the loving intention of every other stone. And Rudraksha holds it all in the steady grace of Shiva consciousness, grounding this soft, radiant love in stillness and depth.

A note on the Herkimer style quartz: Our Herkimer style quartz diamonds are naturally formed quartz sourced from Brazil, called Herkimer due to their close resemblance to the Herkimer found in New York. While they share the brilliant clarity and form of classic Herkimer diamonds, genuine Herkimer diamonds are found only in Herkimer, New York. Ours are prized for their beauty and amplifying properties in their own right.
The Charms:each piece carries two sacred charms, custom designed to match the Shivoham logo. The crescent moon is the original, signifying Shiva's crescent moon and his mastery of time, past, present, and future, and the knower of all three. The round S charm is a later addition, marking the piece unmistakably as Shivoham, since our custom moon design has so often been copied. The S is for Shivoham, and has also come to be known as Shakti. Together the crescent moon and the S are Shiva and Shakti, sun and moon, masculine and feminine, a complete stamp of alchemy and wholeness.
A note on care: There is no need to cleanse this mala. It has already been blessed and consecrated. All you need do is enhance its energy by wearing it with reverence for your own sadhana and spiritual practice. The more you wear it, the more it will attune to you, supporting you to become one with its energy, as it becomes one with yours.
