HATHA | SLOW / GENTLE FLOW
Whether you’re a beginner or advanced this is a welcoming class suitable to for all levels. Restorative, healing and deeply rejuvenating. The asanas are presented in a moving sequence and the practice focuses on aligning one’s breath and spiritual intention while releasing deep seated tensions. The classes are based in classical yoga teachings relevant for one’s life on and off the mat, supported by breathing practices, alignment, relaxation and meditation.
RESTORATIVE
Classes begin with relaxation and gentle to active asanas (postures) before settling into the restorative practice of letting go and releasing tension. Restorative classes allow us the time to find our natural state and to heal. The asanas are supported by blankets and props and often held for several minutes. Meditation completes each class so expect to leave feeling nourished, peaceful and refreshed. A common and quickly felt benefit is improved quality of sleep.
HEALING YOGA
With the conscious release of tension we assist the flow of energy through the body, restoring health, vitality and balance. These gradual yet significant changes also support mental shifts and the re-focusing of energy towards our life goals.
Healing Yoga is your time for inner connection, self-acceptance and giving permission to release the pain often carried for a very long time. It is a gentle and nurturing practice, concluded by meditation and with explanations about the correlation between the tension held in particular postures and our emotions. Guided by Shivjyoti, suitable for everyone.

Vinyasa classes are fluid, movement-intensive practices. Vinyasa offers a sequence that is different every class and where postures flow one into the next linking breath with movement. It is excellent for health and circulation. Offering fitness, focus and the wonderful feeling of balancing whole body, mind and spirit. The classes are based in classical yoga teachings relevant for one’s life on and off the mat, supported by breathing practices, alignment, relaxation and meditation.
VINYASA
Vinyasa classes are fluid, movement-intensive practices. Vinyasa offers a sequence that is different every class and where postures flow one into the next linking breath with movement. Sun Salutations and Khatu Pranam are staples and offer excellent benefits for health and circulation. The classes support fitness, focus and the wonderful feeling of balancing whole body, mind and spirit preparing you for a great day ahead.
BEGINNERS
Learn the fundamentals of correct movement and alignment, full yoga breathing, the art of meditation and the benefits of each aspect in the practice. You’ll be guided step by step at a gentle pace allowing you to experience the benefits of each asana (posture) and how to co-ordinate the breath. Suitable for 6 weeks when starting with us or for mature age students and those seeking a gentle class.
MATURE AGE
A gentle and restorative pace, full guided explanation and care with injuries and ailments. Focus on full body movement, whole body circulation, pranayam (breathing) and balancing exercises for stability.
YIN
Yin is a prelude to meditation and is a passive, peaceful and slow practice suitable for all ages and levels of experience. We use bolsters and props to support the body into releasing deep seated tension and many find this practice beneficial for gaining emotional clarity. The class consists of held floor poses that mainly work areas rich in connective tissue. For those whose practice is active and dynamic this is a perfect compliment class in which postures offer inner peace and profound relaxation.
MEDITATION
Meditation allows you complete physical and mental relaxation, it's a doorway to inner wisdom and understanding. You will experience how this mindfulness practice alleviates stress and tension, leaving you light and happy. Short and regular meditation sessions are encouraged for mental health and wellbeing. We also offer Full and New Moon Meditations to harness the extra energy of these highly energised periods in the lunar cycle.
